This is the place where i held my first solo show when i was in 3rd yr of my Engineering. The gallery manager refused and asked me not to do show. He told me that no artist in the last five yrs had managed to sell a single work.But i convinced him and got the gallery for five days.Finally Director, Nilima Johari and Deputy directorTiwariji bought one work of my choice for gallery collection.A consolation prize though. moral of the story: it's very difficult to get the first cheque.

A CRAZY GIRL


FOLLOWING IS THE INCIDENT HAPPENED WITH ME AT AN HOSPITAL IN JAIPUR:
ME AND MY FATHER WERE WAITING FOR OUR DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT. IN THE SAME WAITING ROOM, THERE WAS A BEAUTIFUL AND MODERN GIRL FROM A GOOD FAMILY WAITING WITH HER MOTHER FOR HER DOCTOR.

WE WERE ENGROSSED IN SOME CONVERSATION. AT SOME POINT OF THAT CONVERSATION THAT GIRL COMES TO US AND ASKED ME POLITELY- "GIVE ME YOUR HAND".
I LOOKED AT HER AND THEN AT MY FATHER. AT THAT TIME SHE SAID SINCERELY- "I WILL NOT TOUCH IT". MY FATHER LOOKED AT HER AND THEN AT ME AND GAVE ME A BLANK LOOK OF UNDERSTANDING.
I EXTENDED MY HAND TOWARDS HER- PALM DOWN. SHE SAID-"DOOSRI TARAF(TURN IT UP)". I DID THE SAME. SHE STUDIED IT FOR SOME TIME AND SAID- "RIGHT"

THE DOCTOR FOR WHOM SHE WAS WAITING WAS A PSYCHIATRIST.

FORGIVENESS v/s RETALIATION

REVENGE IS A BASIC HUMAN INSTINCT, THE ANIMAL PART OF A HUMAN BEING AND IT GETS US NOWHERE. NOT TO RETALIATE DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE WEAK. IN FACT BEING ABLE TO RISE ABOVE YOUR INSTINCTS IS A SIGN OF STRENGTH.

BUT FORGIVENESS IS TOO LAME AS AN ANSWER TO EXTREME SITUATIONS. ITS NOT A VALUE STRONG ENOUGH TO STAND ON. THE ONLY AND REASONABLE AND PRACTICAL WAY TO OPPOSE YOUR ENEMY IS BY DEMONSTRATING THE STRENGTH THEY THINK THEY HAVE TAKEN FROM YOU.

Zindagee ki shrinkhalaon se seekha hai- mauka-parast kar baithhte hain vaar, mauka paate hee/
Toh sochta hoon- suna doon sajha ek saath hee/
Par phir bhi yeh samajh baithhte hain- itnee shakti hee kahaan/
Par dost dikhe nahin toh shakti Ram mein bhi nahin/
Aur dikhe to unse adhik shakti kisi mein bhi nahin/
Par kamjhor kya jaane shakti kya hai/
Woh toh jaane shakti ka pradarshan hee shakti hai/
Yeh toh jaane shaktishaali-ki shakti ka 'nahin-pradarshan' hee toh asli shakti hai/
Jao maaf kiya..par samajh na baithna- kamajhori se hai yeh shabd nikla/

socha tha gaav ko chhodoonga, toh gavaaron se peechaa chootega/
shahar panhuncha, toh shahron ke gavaaron se paalaa padaa/
thoda aur aage pahuncha toh thode ur bade (sophisticated) gavaaron se/

ab ek hee sawaal, ab kya karoon?/

sochta hoon main bhi ban jaoon ek gavaar/
par phir kabhi- kabhi sochta hoon gavaaron ko thoda badloon, par kya kar paoonga main yeh, main ek akela nayaa gavaar/
thoda tum badlo, thoda main, ab yahee hai ek hal sarkar/

doosre grahon par bhi toh nahin hai jeevan ke aasaar filhaal/
zindagee ki iss vyavastha se maine seekhe gavaar ke kuch prakaar-kuch naadaan, kuch hoshiyaar/

sochta hoon, kya videsh mein bhi honge kuch aise hee gavaar/
hey bhagwaan! kissi jagah ko to kar dete inke bina tayyaar/

par aakhir mein soch baithta hoon- gavaar na banoo, yeh sahee nahin aur darta bhi hoon- kahin gaav ke naadan-gavaar naa keh de yeh dekho aa gaya padaa-likha hoshiyaar gavaar/

OPPOSITION


Whats the role of opposiion party in the Parliament or outside of it..
1. To always oppose.
2. To not to support.
3. To support + oppose in a way that u dont have to sacrifice your chances of coming into power in the government.
4. To oppose, but simultaneously it can support the govt and people should not know about it, otherwise they will think ... i laa..... OPPOSITION is supporting the govt, we'll not give our vote to them.
5. First, do ask yourself whats the meaning of OPPOSITION, its definetly -not the CONTRADICTION.......check out the next entry.
7. But sometimes opposition is constrained to opposse blindly, in this situation its morally not good, but its the politics-Rajneeti -not the morality-Dharmneeti which is required at the crucial moment. Its democracy-by the people, for the people, some times this phrase creates dilemna for the opposition. Every party want to come into power and want to serve the country in their own style or ideology.
